Cost of Gas Fosters Home Business

In Canada, regular gasoline is $1.27 per litre or $5.59 per gallon. In the USA, prices per gallon are close to $4.00 per gallon. Why the difference? Doesn't Canada have a good supply of oil? Yes, Canada does have a good supply but world demand determines the price too. In Canada, we also have additional taxes built into the price. As a result, we can always say somebody is benefiting somewhere . (even if it's the federal civil servant with a top flight benefits program)

I hear on the the USA news that some people have to decide to buy food or put gas in their tank. Others don't know whether to go to work or not--just too expensive. This should be very worrisome for anybody in the tourist business in Canada and the USA. People seem to be running scared until they adjust to these new prices. People in Europe have long ago got used to high energy prices that's why they have smaller vehicles. The big loser has to be GM. The same time they released the Hummer, GM killed a functional electric car that would look good just about now. See the movie "Who killed the electric car?"

What if you didn't need a car to make a living? What if you don't have to participate in the rush hour? No one would miss you. What if you could work at home? You can.
